BELIZE; APRIL 24TH, 2011

During this spring break, my family and i are in Belize. today we learned how to make chocolate. It doesn't seem very hard, and when when you make 1 or 2 bars it isn't, but if you are a choclatier and do it for a living, and you don't want to mass produce, it is.
WE ARE STAYING IN POUNTA GOURD (PG) FOR A FEW DAYS, AND IT IS FABULOUS.
Yesterday, we went snorkeling and saw some beautiful reefs. The fish and sea plats are living a whole nother life, a life we don't know about untill we see it. The day before that, we went to see Mayan ruins. We got a great tour guide and heard ancient stories. I think that stories are amazing because they give a picture that is precise to whatever degree you want it to be. We then explored some of the jungle and discovered some tasty and local fruits. I tried a cacoa fruit.
The people in Belize have great smiles.
